Emmanuel Diaz, 18, was arrested earlier this month after being implicated in a stabbing that took place shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 on Belden Avenue in Norwalk.
This week, Diaz was charged with raping a middle schooler at a McDonald’s location on Belden Avenue in April.
Diaz is accused of following his victim into the bathroom at the fast food joint, cornering her and raping her. The accusation first came to light when the girl and her parents reported the incident to police on April 23.
Less than two weeks after the alleged rape, Diaz allegedly stabbed a girl in the leg. The girl was taken to Norwalk Hospital with minor injuries and her wound required several stitches.
A day after the stabbing, Diaz surrendered himself to police custody and was charged with second-degree assault, possession of a weapon and risk of injury to a minor. Last week, police issued a warrant for Diaz’s arrest on charges that include first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child.
Diaz is currently being held in lieu of a $750,000 bond. He was in Norwalk Superior Court on Tuesday, May 28 and is scheduled to appear back in court on June 4.
